While Edward George looks into the history of sound system and their collective aggregational power taking as a point of departure the Colonial history of the Carribean and the healing power of music diffused into public spaces by street sound system, Jessika Khazrik investigates how certain configurations of sounds tell us about the economies governing ecological and techno-political structures, using Arabic rhythms to festively creating spaces of congregation where the local music become a means to reflect on the universe.
