The Artistic Director of Anda&Fala, Jesse James, was invited to visit Timișoara, Romania, as part of Art Encounters, a program of professional meetings associated with the exhibition Another time has other lives to live, a collective show focused on experimental artistic practices, body politics, and ecological issues.

The visit included a series of studio visits to artists based in the city, accompanied by Mihai Toth, involving, among others, Bogdan Rata, Pusha Petrov, Ciprian Ciobanu, Lore Ilie, Mirela Cerbu, and Adrian Florin Pop, as well as visits to independent and institutional spaces such as Kunsthalle Bega and Kosmos.

The program also included a public talk dedicated to presenting the Walk&Talk Biennial, with a focus on the 2025 edition, as well as other projects developed by Anda&Fala, for a mixed audience of artists, curators, and local cultural agents.

These international trips and exchanges are part of Anda&Fala's ongoing strategy to connect the Azores to other geographies, strengthening collaboration networks, creating new institutional partnerships, and promoting movement, exchange, and relationships between different artistic contexts.
