Estela Oliva (CLON)
Estela Oliva is an artist, director, and curator using avant-garde technologies to create immersive experiences. In her work, she researches the impact of technology and the internet in human behaviour, society and our surroundings. She designs hybrid environments in which the physical and the virtual blend, unfolding narratives and cerebral experiences. These projects come to life in experimental formats such as exhibitions, experiential events, installations, set designs, AR/VR experiences, apps, and films.

Estela also works under the pseudonym of CLON, a hybrid art project exploring speculative scenarios and future worlds using technology and new media such as simulations, gaming, and virtual reality. As CLON she is developing a series of interconnected artworks, including META - an art videogame, and performance in collaboration with musician Ana Quiroga, TSDOMS - a VR experience, and Space Zero (0,0,0) - an immersive installation that was included in the Lumen Prize 2021 Longlist.

Estela has performed and exhibited internationally, including Somerset House (London), MUTEK Montreal, MUTEK Argentina, Fundacion Telefonica Lima Peru, MIRA Festival (Barcelona), She Makes Noise Festival (Madrid), Centro Cultura Digital (Mexico), and Athens Digital Arts Festival (Greece), amongst others.
