Ayelin Peressini (1986, Espanha), fine Arts Bachelor Degree specialized in sculpture at the University of Barcelona - University Complutense of Madrid and University of Lisbon - In 2012/13 work at Nucleo Design Studio of Piergiorgio Robino (Torino, Italy). Soon after, in 2013 she became involved within a sustainable architectural project leaded by the group of Canyaviva in the countryside of Sintra (Portugal). At this stage, she realized that it was not only an applied method what she was aiming for but also a method that allows the possibility to work and explore the borders between art and design and more specifically between art and architecture. In 2013 she started a Master in artistic research “Realism and surroundings” at the University of Barcelona (Spain).
In 2014 and 2015 participated in the architectural program Hello Wood “Play with Balance, architectural experiments” and Hello Wood “Project Village” (Csórompuszta, Hungary). In 2016 she obtain the Guasch Coranty Foundation Grant for artistic creation (Barcelona, Spain) and the Van Beek Donner Stichting, Piet Zwart Institute - MIARD (Rotterdam, The Netherlands).
Recently, her work has been exhibit in Fabra i Coats Factory of creation, Centre d´Art Contemporani of Barcelona and Arranz Bravo Foundation and Bombon projects - Contemporary Art Gallery.
