Luísa Salvador (Lisbon, 1988) is a visual artist and researcher. She is a PhD candidate in Contemporary Art History at NOVA FCSH, and was awarded a grant by the Foundation for Science and Technology (2015-2019). She holds a Master in Contemporary Art History from NOVA FCSH (2012) and a Degree in Sculpture from FBAUL (2009). She exhibits regularly since 2012. She was the winner of the Young Creators Award 2018 for Visual Arts. She is currently participating in the program of artistic residencies of the Walk&Talk festival in São Miguel, Azores (2018-2021). Alongside her artistic practice, she also develops a writing activity, between theoretical texts and chronicles. Under the pseudonym Luísa Montanha e Vale, she founded in 2018 the quarterly publication Almanaque - Reportório de Arte e Esoterismo, of which she is editor. She is co-founder of the podcast Debaixo das Estrelas. She lives and works in Lisbon.
