Isabel Madureira Andrade (Ponta Delgada, Azores, 1991). Lives and works in Lisbon. She holds a B.A. and M.A. degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon (2010-1018). Between 2014 and 2016 she attended the Mart Artist Residency Program, in Lisbon. In 2017, she presented the solo exhibition “Indícios” at Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações, in partnership with Galeria Bessa Pereira. In 2019, Isabel was one of the 6 finalists of the EDP Foundation's New Artists Award and received an Honorable Mention from the jury. In 2020 her second solo exhibition “Epigramas” took place at Museu Arpad-Szenes - Vieira da Silva, curated by José Manuel dos Santos. Some of her recent group exhibitions include: “Outras Vozes”, Sindicato dos Pintores (Mariana Gomes Project), Lisbon (2019); “EDP New Artists Award”, curated by Inês Grosso, João Silvério and Sara Antónia Matos, MAAT - Museu de Arte, Arquitectura e Tecnologia, Lisbon (2019); “Cosmografias, a história e outras cores”, curated by Luísa Cardoso, Galeria Fonseca Macedo, Azores (2019); “Art Toronto”, Toronto Convention Centre (2019); “Meeting Point”, Galeria Bessa Pereira, Lisbon (2017). Her work is represented in public collections such as: CML – Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, Coleção Figueiredo Ribeiro, DRAC- Direção Regional da Cultura, FLAD - Fundação Luso-Americana para o Desenvolvimento, MAAT - Fundação EDP, Fundação PLMJ, Fundação Portuguesa das Comunicações.
