Isabel Medeiros (Ponta Delgada, 1998) is a multimedia artist, with a master's degree in Aesthetics and Artistic Studies, specializing in Cinema and Photography from NOVA FCSH, Lisbon (2023), a degree in Multimedia Art in the area of Installation and Performance from FBAUL, Lisbon (2019) and has studied at the Art Academy of Szczecin, Poland (2018/19).
She was recently selected for the Nova Vaga 2024 award by Associação Anda&Fala, in 2023, for Mostra Nacional de Jovens Criadores do Gerador and, in 2021, for Millennium BCP’s Prémio Arte Jovem.
Exhibiting regularly, the following shows can be highlighted: Do tempo e das nuvens, solo exhibition curated by CARA LAVADA, at the Carlos Machado Museum, Ponta Delgada (2024); and Memórias do Vulcão, solo exhibition at the João José da Graça Library and Archive, Horta (2023). Currently lives and works in Lisbon.
