Juliana Matsumura (São Paulo, 1993) is a Japanese-Brazilian artist. Lives in Lisbon. She graduated in Drawing at Ar.Co and she attended Textiles and Fashion at the University of São Paulo. She was part of the lab for artists promoted by NowHere Lisboa (2019-2020) and she finished the Visual Arts Course promoted by FLAD (2022). She was awarded a grant by Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (2021) to carry out a residency project in São Paulo. She has been exhibiting her work since 2017.
