MUSA AZORES aims to promote the sustainable and socially inclusive use of banana trees in the Azores - the Musa species - by using their waste to create artisanal pieces and promote experiences around them.
The idea for its creation was born in April 2022, following a series of meetings and sharing of knowledge, under the influence of our island experiences and feelings, with a focus on using the resources of the Azores for craft practices.
