Margarida Andrade (1996) is a visual artist living and working in Ponta Delgada, Azores. The artist departs from the search for environmentally sustainable practices to assume a self-critical facet, reporting, in the process, the contradictions inherent in the current social context. Among the exhibitions on her itinerary are two solo shows: um herbário de plantas por nascer, in 2023, at Galeria Fonseca Macedo (Ponta Delgada, Azores) and No Futuro também se usavam pincéis, in 2022, curated by João Mourão, at Arquipélago - Contemporary Arts Center (Ribeira Grande, Azores). Since January 2024, the artist has dedicated herself to the project não me esqueças.
