Independent curator and writer, Marta Espiridião is currently a PhD researcher at Liverpool John Moores University. In recent years, has curated several exhibitions and public programs, such as Odete's Artifício at Galerias Municipais de Lisboa; the group show Erro 417: Expectativa Falhada (2021-2), winner of the curatorial competition ‘Expo’98 no Porto”, Galeria Municipal do Porto; Andreia Santana's Materialidades Sónicas (2020), with the support of Criatório; and has created several independent curatorial projects, including Corpos no Espaço - a critical archive of non-normative experiences in the city of Lisbon, or o anexo. Has also published several books, catalogs and magazines both in print and online.
