Rita Sampaio (Ponta Delgada, 1991) graduated as an architect from Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto. Her professional experience was developed first in Milan, then London and Lisbon. She became interested in Architecture as a multidiscipline that could be profoundly associated with its context, its history and its place. Throughout her path, the distancing from the Azores highlighted the influence her insular condition has on her work. In 2019 she founded ilhéu atelier from which develops projects for the Azores.
