UMAR-Açores - Association for Equality and Women's Rights is a feminist non-profit association. It exists as Regional Delegation of UMAR (Union of Women Alternatives and Answers) since 1992, and since 2008 as association UMAR-Açores - Association for Equality and Women's Rights.
Based in the Azores, it develops work through its three nuclei (São Miguel, Terceira and Faial), but also through its participation in regional, national, European and international projects, initiatives, networks, partnerships or social movements.
