Catarina Gonçalves & David Pinheiro Vicente+info
Catarina Gonçalves, David Pinheiro Vicente
16 jan / 18h30
In the context of the opening season of vaga, Catarina Gonçalves and David Pinheiro Vicente present short films:

Catarina Gonçalves
MÃOS DE PRATA (2020)
In March of 2019 my grandfather was 20 years old. The following month he was 12. Last week he was 30. Today he is 86, and tomorrow he might be 20 again. I have only known him since he was 66, but lately I have been getting to know him in a different way.

David Pinheiro Vicente
THE LAMB OF GOD (2020)
The summer festivities of a Portuguese village are suffused with sensuality and violence in this enigmatic portrait of a tightly knit family.

WHERE THE SUMMER GOES (chapters on youth) (2018)
It’s summer, a boy and his friends go to the river. On the ride there, a story is told about a man and his pet snake that tried to eat him. The boy falls from a tree trunk and gets hurt. A girl follows him. A couple kiss each other, another boy explores the woods and a third one just lays by a tree eating a peach.
In four chapters, the heat and the humidity of the forest unravel desires among them.
