Filho da Fuga is a live performance and installation that results from the intersection of the work of Gonçalo Cerá and Pedro Joaquim Borges during a residency at vaga in 2023. Through sound and performance, the artists reflect on their insular condition and places of belonging, presenting three tracks from Gonçalo Cerá's EP of the same name and an expositive reinterpretation of Pedro Joaquim Borges' soundwalk Peso. The culmination of a walk done together, between an artist from the Azores and an artist from Madeira, who are hostage to their condition of “escape”.
