The Constellations Forum, organized by vaga in partnership with architect João Rebelo Costa and visual artist Margarida Andrade, aims to create a new interaction with the city, opening doors to the exploration of heritage and cultural territory centered in Ponta Delgada to question and rescue spaces in the city and new ways to live it.

We invite all interested people to identify the empty spaces in the city, signaling points of improvement and new opportunities. We start, specifically, from the unused areas of the University of the Azores and encourage the creation of more democratic urban regeneration proposals, which benefit more than the people who daily use the University, the people who use the city of Ponta Delgada.

The Forum, in its nature, presupposes a total openness of topics to address. But it proposes, right now, the following reflections:

1. Housing: new residence for students, artists, and other people who come to the island;
2. Academy of Arts: an idea from UAç that arises intending to fill the lack of formative offers in the area of the arts in the Region;
3. City and University: the possibility of new synergies between the University and other initiatives in the city.
