Manicure Política is a performance created by artist Lyz Parayzo in 2016, intending to transform an everyday action - painting one's nails, into an educational device about gender diversity.

In Manicure Política, the public is invited to paint their nails for free in an installation environment called Salão Parayzo. In this space of exchange and conversation, the artist addresses issues such as gender performativity, intending to question the binary logic of formatting bodies.
