Tramas da Ilha — Bordado sobre Fotografia proposes creating a large-scale textile work in which an iconic photograph of Ponta Delgada, printed on fabric, serves as a canvas for collective creation. Over the course of 10 days, the piece will be on display in the open space and open to public participation, inviting visitors to leave their mark through freehand embroidery stitches, transforming a static image into a living, three-dimensional surface in constant flux. On July 17, the artist will lead a collective session with limited participation, in which several people will embroider simultaneously on the same panel, deepening the collaborative gesture and the work's community dimension.
