Andreia Santana lives and works in Lisbon. Holds a BA in Fine Arts from ESAD - School of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha and participated in the Independent Study Program of Visual Arts from Maumaus in Lisbon. Since 2013, has participated in several residency programs, namely, Residency Unlimited in New York with a fellowship from Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Panal 360 in Buenos Aires, Mieszkanie Gepperta at Wroclaw and Gasworks - Triangle Network at Hangar in Lisbon. Santana won NOVO BANCO Revelação Prize in 2016 and D. Fernando I Sculpture Prize, exhibiting her work regularly, highlighting the shows: The Outcast Manufacturers at Filomena Soares Gallery; Leaves of Absence at Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art and The Lobster Loop at MONITOR.
