Carolina Celas is a Lisbon based illustrator. She graduated in Design followed by a post-grad in Illustration in Barcelona. She began her career working in advertising, passing through Media Vaca editions and developing work as a freelance to different mediums. She finished an MA in Visual Communication at Royal College of Art / London with Private Landscapes Project in 2015. Private Landscapes was distinguished in 2016 being selected to the illustrator’s exhibition at Bologna Illustration Children’s Book Fair, also recognised with gold medal at student 's category by 3x3 Magazine NY. Her work lies between fiction and reality, exploring attention to detail, humour and the surreal.
