Danny Bracken is a multidisciplinary American artist working in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His creative practice explores the impact of technological change and its effect on our perceptions, experiences, and connection to the people and places that surround us. These works often incorporate video, sound, and physical objects that range from public installations to small-scale sculptures and printed material to vinyl record releases. Born into a family of musicians, sound occupies a central role in the work, and takes the form of film scores, installations, and stand-alone recordings. His sculptural and installation work has been included in numerous group and solo exhibitions at museums, galleries, and festivals in the US, Europe, and Asia.
