Isabel Costa was born in 1992. Works in theater, cinema and curation. Holds a degree in theater from Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, and completed her training at the University of Warwick (England) and UNIRIO (Brazil). She is a creator and actress. Has been a member of the company Os Possessos since 2014. In the field of exhibition production, she has worked at Paço Imperial (Brazil) and Galeria Luis Serpa Projectos (Lisbon). In 2016, she finished her Erasmus Mundus Crossways in Cultural Narratives master's degree, having dedicated herself to the theme of performance art. As a creator, she presented the creation “Estufa-Fria-A Caminho de uma Nova Esfera de Relações” in 2017 at Bienal de Jovens Criadores, and the first edition of Projeto Manifesta, a project produced by Os Possessos. In 2019 presents Maratona de Manifestos and the creation Salão Para o Século XXI. In 2023 presents the creation Som e Fúria and Manifestos Para Depois do Fim do Mundo.

Founded in 2013, Os Possessos is a young theater company based in Lisbon and Almada. It currently has five members: Catarina Rôlo Salgueiro, Isabel Costa, João Pedro Mamede, Leonardo Garibaldi and Leonor Buescu. Os Possessos work on theatrical and performance projects, based on universal narratives and creating a fiction about reality that is shared between the artists and the audience. Since 2013, they have presented the shows Hanzel e Gretel (2013), Rapsódia Batman (2014), II - A Mentira (2015), Marcha Invencível (2017), O Novo Mundo (2018), Maratona de Manifestos and A Bolha (2019), Ainda Marianas (2022), Manifestos Para Depois do Fim do Mundo (2023), Victor ou as Crianças ao Poder (2024), Last Call (2024).
