Maya Saravia was born in Guatemala City, 1984. Currently lives and works in Madrid. She studied Graphic Design, Fine Arts and History of Art. Her main interests are language and the nature of information, the historiographical construction of collective memory and how it interlinks with art, knowledge, perception and experience. She works on installation, painting, graphic design and archive.
