Born in Batalha, 1971, lives and works in Porto.

PhD in Art and Design, illustration field. Is a professor of Communication Design and Illustration at Faculdade de Belas Artes, Universidade do Porto. Develops in parallel curatorial projects and research in Illustration and participates regularly in individual and collective shows in illustration.

Co-author of the online project of illustrated narratives, Pandora Complexa.

Founding member of the association and gallery Dama Aflita, in Porto, dedicated to illustration and drawing.

Member of the research institute of Design, Media and Culture (ID +) and of the scientific committe CONFIA – International Conference on Illustration and Animation.
