Sérgio Fazenda Rodrigues (Lisboa, 1973) is an Architect and a Curator, living and working in Lisbon. He holds an M-Arch in Architecture, attended a PhD in Fine Arts, and attended a PhD in Architecture. He taught Architecture at Universidade dos Açores and at UEVG-Coimbra and now teaches Curatorship at Faculdade de Belas Artes de Lisboa. He was a cultural consultant for the Azorean Government, where he planned the acquisitions for the contemporary art collection of Arquipélago–C.A.C. and programmed its cultural activities. He is a member of AICA-Portugal (International Association of Art Critics), collaborates with Contemporânea Art Magazine and he is the author of the book A Casa dos Sentidos. He co-founded Projecto Editorial Palenque (contemporary art editions). As an independent curator, his work has been developed in partnership with private collectors, commercial galleries, independent spaces, and institutions, in Lisbon, Brussels, Madrid and London.
