The multidisciplinary trio composed by Michelle Blades, Rodrigo Vaiapraia and Tomás Paula Marques gathers to develop a set of projects in the areas of music, cinema, audiovisual experimentation and storytelling as a common craft between them, absorbed by the possibilities offered in São Miguel. The project’s starting point is the music of Michelle Blades and Rodrigo Vaiapraia, in which we can trace styles and soften borders, having in mind themes such as the exploration of fluctuating notions of identity and the search for a sense of belonging in an autobiographical perspective, dwelling with the weight of the current sociopolitical contexts. From this meeting, there will be a live concert during the festival, the composition of an EP with new unreleased tracks and a doc-fiction short film based on a spectrum of reflections and experiences lived during the residency.
