A drawing workshop, explaining how Miso makes her landscape topographies from fabric. Each child is given a piece of striped fabric, and we lay them over the ground, in an area around the museum. Then we sit outside, and learn how to draw the contours the fabric makes over the ground, and how topographic maps work. We make big ink or marker drawings, and perhaps hang them somewhere together, so each child’s drawing covers a section of the ground - and when they are all together hanging, they make the map of a town square or area outside of the museum.
