"We're running out of time" is a project of the ilhas studio that aims to create a marathon in the edition of W&T 2021: a 42km course that crosses the island of S.Miguel in which everyone can participate. A marathon that is also a manifestation and that intends, along 42km, to join demands, fights and causes that each one considers urgent. In 2021 we go with a fight to the chest: walking, running, cycling or riding together.

In the W&T 2020 edition, we started preparing our marathon through the collection of phrases that are representative of fights and causes. We invite everyone to gather their voices: your fight phrases will become part of a large shared online archive on the festival website.
