André Carreiro Oliveira is a visual artist from the Azores and a senior student majoring in sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. Through sculpture and video, he explores the relationship between matter, volcanic rock, and the contemporary world. His work investigates processes of transformation and the impact of human action on the landscape and material memory.
