Inês Ribeiro (Leiria, 1981) completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at the Escola Superior de Arte e Design in Caldas da Rainha in 2016, specializing in Sculpture, and spent a semester studying at the Guzel Sanatlar Fakultesi – Akdeniz University in Turkey under the Erasmus program.
In 2007, she joined Cencal in Caldas da Rainha, where she completed a course in Creative Ceramics with a professional internship in São Pedro do Corval – the largest Iberian center for ceramics.
In 2008, she began her career in teaching Visual Arts, teaching in Barrancos and Moura. Since the beginning of her university journey, she has occasionally participated in exhibitions and collective initiatives.
In 2009, she moved to São Miguel, in the Azores. In 2015, she won the 1st prize in the LabJovem competition in the category of Ceramic Design with her work "Ceramic Postcard."
In November 2019, she inaugurated Matéria 47 – Ceramics Studio. Her creative development spans areas such as illustration, ceramics, and printing, alongside education through the transmission of knowledge.
