Born in the heart of the Atlantic, Mariana Farias creates menus exploring French cuisine in a contemporary way, with local and seasonal ingredients. At just 22 years old, Mariana, native from the island of São Miguel, started studying photography, but her passion for pastry was stronger. She combines these two aspects in her project Migalhas, where her creativity gains place with desserts in individual portions, as an alternative to large formats, an idea designed to combat food waste.
