O Primeiro Impulso is a series of workshops integrated into Escola vaga, designed to introduce people just starting out or interested in developing original projects to contemporary artistic practice and the specific processes involved in creating and applying for cultural opportunities.

Over two sessions, Jesse James (artistic director) and Rubén Monfort (program coordinator) from the Anda&Fala team will share their experience and offer tools for interpreting open calls, developing artistic ideas, and structuring proposals.

More than just teaching “how to apply,” the program seeks to demystify access to culture and promote autonomy in building artistic careers.
