I am not an artist. Can I participate?
Yes! experience in the arts and culture is not required, but an interest in the arts - visual arts, performing arts, architecture, design, film and photography, and in cultural production and programming - is assumed.

What is expected?
To participate actively in the planned meetings, to develop and apply the necessary experiences/reflections to the final goal of co-curating and organizing the fourth and final TEMPORADA of the project (defining a central theme, selecting artists and activities to program, commissioning new works and developing an associated Knowledge Program).

What is the frequency, duration and location of the meetings?
In each TEMPORADA, there will be 6 to 8 mandatory sessions - practical exercises, conversations, workshops and seminars, and informal moments of dialogue and sharing.
The duration of the activities varies: trainings - 6h00; seminars - 1h30; theoretical/practical exercises - 3h. The base will be vaga - espaço de arte e conhecimento (Ponta Delgada), but the working sessions and/or TEMPORADAS activities may happen in other places of the island.

I will be in São Miguel, but I don't know my availability between March 2022 and June 2023.
Each TEMPORADA has its defined period, and the trainings and seminars will have fixed dates* (because they depend on people from outside the Association) and will take place on Saturdays. The other LABTEMPO meetings will be scheduled taking into account the availability of the group.

Do I have to pay to participate?
No! On the contrary, each participant will receive a participation grant of 2200 euros (400.00 euros for the first three SEASONS + 1000.00 euros for the final SEASON). In addition, there will be a programming and production grant, managed by Anda&Fala - Associação Cultural.

How can I apply?
To apply, you must send an Application Dossier to the e-mail temporadas@andafala.org, until February 22nd. The Dossier should contain the identification of the candidate, a motivation letter and the updated CV and/or portfolio.
