Anda&Fala - Cultural Association is promoting the 5th edition of PARES - Support Program for Artistic Activity in the Azores, allocating 7,500 euros from its annual budget to support artists and agents who develop their work in the region through the award of microfinancing grants of 250, 500 or 750 euros per application.

Applications: In all areas of contemporary artistic expression - visual arts, performing arts, music, literature, or cinema, provided that they involve activities in the areas of creation, presentation, and circulation within or outside the Azores region.

For whom: The program supports artists and agents born or based in the Azores and is also open to people from other geographies who choose the archipelago to develop their projects.

Deadlines: In 2023, PARES will have an appreciation phase, with applications submitted between January 25 and February 15, with activities to take place until January 31, 2024.

Jury: Applications will be evaluated by the jury of the PARES program, consisting of three elements of the artistic direction of Anda&Fala - Jesse James, Luís Brum, and Sofia Carolina Botelho, and one guest element of recognized merit in the area of culture.
