We're happy to announce the winners of the four Walk&Talk 2020 Open Calls 2020 - Open Call Residencies, Open Call Young Creators, W&T Pavilion and Open Call Journalists.

We would like to thank all authors for the 246 applications received and for your understanding of the delay in sharing the results. Like everyone, we had to adapt to this new context and understand what our response should be as a cultural agent and facilitator.

In Walk&Talk, the various Open Calls exist to create space and diversity in the festival's program, and also to reflect our confidence in a community that produces and generates knowledge. For these reasons, and given the current situation, we decided to select six authors/projects for the Open Call for Residency (instead of the two stated in the regulation) and to nominate two winners in the Open Call Young Creators, to integrate our Artistic Residency Program which, in the next editions, will be accompanied by guest curator, Irene Campolmi. The next edition of W&T Pavilion is designed by a young collective and we’re challenging two journalists to expand the festival's content.

The Open Call for Residency Jury was chaired by the Direction Board of Anda&Fala - Cultural Association: Jesse James, Sofia Carolina Botelho, Luís Brum and Joana Cardoso and by a guest member: Irene Campolmi, Curator and Independent Researcher. Applications to the Open Call Young Creators and Open Call Journalists were evaluated and selected by Anda&Fala’s Direction Board and the applications to the Open Call W&T Pavillion were evaluated and selected by Anda&Fala’s Direction Board in conjunction with the Coordination of the Pavilion, José Amorim, and also by a guest member: Manuel Henriques, Deputy Executive Director of the Lisbon Architecture Triennale.
