Ana Cristina Cachola
Ana Cristina Cachola is an independent curator, professor, and writes about contemporary art for several outlets. She holds a PhD in Culture Studies from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, institution where she is a professor since 2010. In 2011 she was awarded a stipend to conduct her doctoral research, and in 2017 was awarded a stipend to conduct her post-doc, both by the Foundation for Science and Technology.
She is investigator and curator at the European Cooperation project “4Cs - from Conflict to Conviviality through Creativity and Culture”, a project co-funded by the European Commission, and coordinated by Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Founded, with Daniela Agostinho and Joana Mayer, the Pipi Colonial collective. Presently, she is developing, along with Marta Espiridião, two curatorial projects: “anexo” and “O Segundo Nexo”.
