Anda&Fala - Cultural Association, through vaga - space for art and knowledge, is promoting the 1st edition of the nova vaga Prize, intending to support new Azorean creative values in the expanded field of visual arts. The Prize seeks to stimulate the region's artistic ecosystem every two years by awarding creative grants to develop and deepen artistic practices and the dialog between artists and cultural agents.

nova vaga Prize is the successor to the Walk&Talk Young Creators, an open call for young people born and/or living in the Azores which, between 2014 and 2022, awarded 14 artists with a creative grant as part of the Walk&Talk - Festival of Arts Artist Residency Program, and a final presentation in its various editions.

Prize
Three creative grants of €4,000 (€1,500 fee person/collective + €2,500 production grant)
Artist residency with curatorial supervision by Marta Espiridião and support from the Anda&Fala team
Group exhibition at the venue

For whom
People/collectives born and/or living in the Azores, between the ages of 18 and 35, who wish to develop their practice in the expanded field of visual arts.
