Daniasa M. Curbelo & Ninf.A
Portugal
For over a decade, Daniasa M. Curbelo has dedicated herself to the creation, research and dissemination of popular culture and memory in the Canary Islands. From a gender perspective, her work questions hegemonic voices and proposes new narratives where sexual subalternity plays a fundamental role in understanding the history of a territory beyond colonial, binary and Eurocentric frameworks.
Ninf.A is an artist, activist, curator and cultural manager who opens up a gap in sound aesthetics and musical identity. Developing in the Canary Islands, she is committed to experimental sounds within avant-garde electronic music and folklore.
