LABTEMPO is an artistic laboratory created within the scope of Temporadas da vaga, which aims to train young residents of São Miguel in programming, curating, and artistic and cultural production practices.

After an open call (February 2022), a heterogeneous collective in interests, experiences, aesthetics, and motivations was selected, which converged on the vaga as a place for learning, questioning, sharing, and testing. Despite their different backgrounds - from art and literature students to professionals in cultural mediation, visual arts, and law, the LABTEMPO group is, above all, curious, enthusiastic people with a healthy restlessness that makes them want to act and think about the world.

With the mentoring vaga's team and the teachings of the trainers, curators, and artists invited throughout the project, the collective has closely followed the activities of the first three Temporadas (March 2022 - April 2023), acquiring skills that are now materialized in the organization and conception of the aggregating Temporada #4, SUPERNOVA.

LABTEMPO is composed of Ana Nascimento, Beatriz Brum, Bernardo Prisca, Catarina Gaspar, Eva Frias, João Amado, Leonor Fernandes, and Margarida Cruz.
