Martim Cybrom (1973) completed his secondary education in the Azores and, in 1999, continued his studies in the Netherlands, at the Maastricht Academy of Arts. He returned to São Miguel in 2003, but his career as a professional painter only began in 2005 when he decided to open a painting studio where, to this day, he offers training, sells painting supplies, and creates his own works. His creations are represented in private collections and public spaces, both in the Azores and Portugal as well as abroad, including: Presidência da República, the European Parliament, the Principality of Monaco, Colégio Militar, the University of the Azores, the American Consulate in the Azores, the Ponta Delgada City Hall, the Vila Franca City Hall, the Ribeira Grande City Hall, the Bensaúde Group, the Manuel Arriaga Museum, the Azores Military Museum, and the Court of Auditors. He has won five national and international awards.
