Sofia Rocha (Azores, 1996) lives and works in Porto. An interdisciplinary visual artist who develops an artistic practice and research that seeks to approach invisible phenomena, flows and systems through material experimentation. Allegories, symbols and myths are transformed by various media, establishing speculative correspondences with three-dimensional forms, images and actions. Holds a master's degree in Fine Arts in the specialty of Intermedia (2023) from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, where he graduated in Fine Arts-Multimedia (2021). Has been exhibiting regularly since 2019, including the group exhibitions CONTEXTILE (Guimarães 2020), Festival Súbito (Gaia, 2021), Úmbria (Teatro de Vila Real, 2021), Eu Vi o Brilho (oBueiro, Porto, 2023), Jornadas FemQueer II, Cineclube Lastro (Porto, 2024).
