Atelineiras are a collective of five young artists and students (Beatriz Toste, Carolina Amado, Inês Lopes, Sara Massa and Xico), residents and natives of São Miguel. Initially, the group, formed due to the acquisition of a microwave oven, debuted with only 3 of the current members, as something with no commitment and no clear objective. With the entrance of the remaining elements and the appearance of new opportunities, the group transformed itself.
