A conversation about artistic practices in the Azores.
Contemporary Art is a force of "existence" in the Azores. The community that makes it up forms a social landscape that is the consequence of years of geographical, political and social history. Assembly #1 - Menu of Taste is an invitation to those who feel part of this landscape to sit down at the table and reflect on its existence. As in times of pandemic the great suppers have to happen without a meal, our sensibilities about what we are and what we can be will be tasted. Artists, scientists, students, curious, dilettantes, seniors or teenagers are invited to have a place at the "table".

The Assemblies are monthly meetings vaga to imagine and discuss contemporaneity, organized by artists, agents, producers and thinkers. The person responsible for each Assembly is responsible for defining the meeting model and the topics to be addressed. They can invite other participants and the sessions can take any format, from a meeting to dinners, and even include performances.
