Catarina Miranda has been developing fictional discourses, through languages that intercept dance, voice, scenography and light, the, approaching the body as a vehicle for hypnagogic transformation and awareness of the present. In her artistic path the pieces such as Dream is the Dreamer, Boca Muralha, Mazezam and Reiposto Reimorto stand out, presented between Palais de Tokyo/Paris, Fundação de Serralves, DDD – Festival Dias da Dança, Festival Materiais Diversos, Festival Pays de Danses, Short Theatre Festival. She concluded her master’s degree EXERCE at ICI-CCN (Montpellier/Fr) and her degree in Visual Arts from FBAUP; she studied NOH Theatre at Kyoto Art Center, Japan. The piece Cabraqimera and the installation Poromechanics are her most recent creations.
