Luís Fernandes (Braga, 1981) is a musician, sound artist and cultural programmer. His work is developed in parallel in the areas of musical composition, performance and artistic curatorial projects. He is a founding member of the band Peixe: Avião, mentor of the project The Astroboy and Landforms, member of the collective La La La Ressonance, the duets Palmer Eldritch and Quest, with the pianist Joana Gama and the trio Harmonies, with Joana Gama and Ricardo Jacinto. In 2018 he developed the "Speaking of Chance" project, exploring controlled randomness in modular synthesis systems together with André Gonçalves and Lloyd Cole.

He has been artistic director and founder of the Semibreve Festival since 2011 and artistic director of the gnration in Braga since 2014.
