Madalena Correia (May 12, 1997, São Miguel, Azores) has participated and carried out several projects in the group Ateliê d'Artes - ESAQ, at Antero de Quental Secondary School, namely murals, artistic installations, among others. In 2014, she participated in the collective exhibition of the Medeiros Cabral Visual Arts Prize, "A família e o trabalho", at Museu Carlos Machado -Núcleo de Santa Bárbara, participating with an installation. The following year, in partnership with Paulo Melo, Sofia Sousa and Manuel Morgado, she created an artistic installation, "Alegoria Submersa", presented at Portas do Mar, in an old abandoned office. In the same year she starts her degree in Multimedia Art - Performance and Installation, by the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon. In 2016, she was part of Exposição de Artistas Açorianos in Casa dos Açores, Lisbon, with a triptych, titled "Mercedes", 84x178cm. During her academic career, she excelled in performance and installation, under the guidance of artist and professor João Onofre. In October of 2018, she began her professional activity as a director, editor and photographer at Estúdio 13 - Espaço de Indústrias Criativas, under the guidance of André Melo and Maria João Gouveia, where she continues to date.
