What we take from the works of the artists Sofia Caetano and Abbas Akhavan, we will observe in Sete Cidades. This is an excursion to be between the natural and the artificial, because the landscape is sometimes not what it seems. Thus, going through the Serra Devassa in a search for the balance between us and nature, we will understand the origin and life of organisms and we will arrive at Ponta dos Carneiros with other perceptions of the territory.

Excursion guided by: Luís Brum and Ricardina Barbosa
Luís Brum was born in Biscoitos and graduated in Landscape Architecture. He has been developing research and urban intervention that put him in contact with eco-sociology themes. He also develops work in the area of urban art, in a first connection between architecture and art.
Ricardina Barbosa, was born on Faial Island, and graduated in Zootechnical Engineering. During her academic and professional career she developed a particular interest in the knowledge of the flora of Macaronesia, where endemic species abound, and the importance of conservation of the ecosystems where they exist.
