families, Knowledge Programme
23 jul / 10h - 12h
A program dedicated to families with children between 2 and 12 years old, with a workshop and a concert-experience with WaqWaq Kingdom.
Sound figures: First, imagination
What shape does a high sound have? And a bass sound? If music had a shape, what would it be? With no limits to imagination, sound will be the starting point of this activity for families. Through sculptures, we will give life to sound creatures that will be responsible for giving us music and animation in the concert that follows.
WaqWaq Kingdom’s endless range of stylistic adventures sees them drawing lines between traditional Japanese and contemporary electronic, between Jamaican dancehall and 8-bit techno, between African polyrhythms and experimental music, with plenty more helping to colour a powerful, vibrant palette.
