Anda&Fala - Cultural Association promotes the Open Call Young Creators Walk&Talk 2022: a call open to young people born and/or living in the Azores up to 30 years old, which materializes in the attribution of a creative scholarship integrated in the Artistic Residencies Program of the 11th edition of the arts festival, which takes place from July 14 to 23, 2022.

The Open Call is aimed at art students, emerging artists, and young people who aspire to develop an activity and/or a project in any area of artistic expression.

The creation grant is of 2000€, and the winner will benefit from curatorial and production support starting in November 2021, to present the resulting artistic project in July 2022 during Walk&Talk.

The Young Creators Open Call began in 2014, and since then has awarded 13 creative grants: Catarina Gonçalves, Luís Senra (2020); Joana Franco, Madalena Fragueiro (2019); Diogo Lima, Madalena Correia (2018); Margarida Andrade, Cristóvão Ferreira (2017); Carolina Rocha (2016); Beatriz Brum, João Miguel Ramos (2015); Mariana Pacheco Medeiros, César Martiniano (2014).

Applications, which must be submitted by October 31, will be evaluated by a jury composed of two members of the artistic direction of Anda&Fala - Jesse James and Sofia Carolina Botelho, and a guest member of recognized merit in the area of culture.
