Summer School, included in the Knowledge Programme, returns from 15 to 24 July, with a hybrid format: 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, enhancing two forms of presence and encounter with reflection, critical thinking and artistic experimentation.

Ecology of affectsIn Ecology of affects, Luísa Salvador proposes an experience of relation to time, its conception and the matter that transcends it as a landscape builder. Through an interdisciplinary approach that crosses drawing, installation and written production, the link between living beings and the environment they inhabit will be woven.

Holdings: House Heads In Holding: House Heads, Nadia Belerique applies the logic of photography to sculptural installation, assembling images, objects and sculptures into semi architectural-compositions that act like portraits of absent protagonists. The workshop will allow participants to enact this process of artmaking using their own personal narratives and objects, approaching readymade sculpture with an openness to change.

Through the exploration of mythologies, fictional and speculative narratives, and thinking about concepts such as the perception and measurement of time, freedom of expression, social movements or particle physics, Diogo da Cruz proposes a narrative exercise in the water, in which sculptural forms will emerge.

Starting from the idea of Fan fiction - a creative work produced in an amateur way by fans, based on an existing work of fiction (such as series or books) or on real phenomena or people (such as pop bands) - Alice dos Reis invites the participants to create their own fiction.
